I started my professional writing career early in 1991 while living and working as a horseback riding guide at Bear Basin Ranch, part of
Adventure Specialists. My articles appeared first in
Western Horseman,
Gold and Treasure Hunter and others, and I began publishing regularly while moving around the Southwest until 1995 when I finally returned to my birthplace, Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Since 1995 I have had monthly columns in health magazines, regular travel pieces in various magazines and papers, and both fiction and non-fiction stories in publications ranging from
Tattoo and
Easy Rider to
Route 66 and
Parenting New Mexico.

Most recently I have had travel pieces published on
Life in Italy, a great on-line guide to all things Italian.

For a more detailed list of publications, see my
credits.

I began technical writing and editing in 1999 and worked with
Ktech Corporation from 2001 until 2009. My clients included world-renown scientists from around the globe.

For two years I did PR work for the
University of New Mexico and
Popejoy Hall.

My book
A Dream that keeps Returning: Travels in the Italian Sun is available
here and at Amazon.com,and Barnes & Noble.com as of February, 2008. You can order one directly from
me.

Early in 2005 my screenplay
BURN was optioned by a Hollywood producer.

My young adult novel
ONE EYED JACK is with an agent.

My non-ficiton travel book proposal is out with an agent.

In the spring of 2006 I was hired to write a screenplay for a movie producer in Hollywood.

I have worked on a number of ghost writing projects on a variety of subjects.

Many of my editing clients have had their work published.

And finally, I have organized two successful one-day writers'
conferences.
