Three concurrent cultural projects
1) Research into antiquities smuggling from primarily the Middle East, and how the loss of these cultural treasures is a tragedy not just for the country of origin but for all peoples. The loss of history is the loss of ourselves.
- Non-fiction documentary film,
Black Market Jihad
- Full-length feature film
- A series of articles
Iraq Project
2) A non-fiction book about how the American media justifies war under the guise of providing information. Through belief systems most of us don't even know we possess, and using both words and images from the Middle East, the media is instrumental in taking us to war against people it successfully turns into monsters right before our eyes.
Media Monsters
3) A study of pre-WW II silent German horror films. The main focus is research into how monsters were depicted, and how that contributed to the hatred of/killing of Jews.
